Animation Idea

I came up with this idea based on the toys called 'Stikfas'. They are becoming popular for creating stop motion animations because they are so flexible and easy to pose. This idea could be done as a stop motion, or alternatively as a 2D or 3D animation, where the characters could be made to look like Stikfas.

The story is about a lonely robot, who is gentle but can be seen as threatening because of his size and appearance. He finds it hard to make friends or talk to anyone. One day, by chance he encounters a normal guy out walking, who is also feeling lonely. The robot decides to approach the man and see if they could become friends, but after looking up and seeing the giant robot in front of him, the man flees in terror leaving the robot to question why he is perceived in this way.

This idea needs a bit more work, but could possibly make an interesting animation.
